Installation view «Memories of the Future». 210×165 cm oil on canvas, wooden frame

Memories of the future
is an ongoing project
about the function of memories.
Are we able to describe
our memories through abstraction?
And what if abstraction is a
certain feeling, that could describe
our memories, that could describe,
what is indescribable.

Memories of the
future is an essence
of the capability of
our brain to predict
the future.There wouldn´t
be any memories, if someone
would´t have had the experience
of living them.

And yet the future is
what we are building now.
We predict the future
by creating it, by building
and designing it.

Memories of the
future is a term,
that never existed
which is a fiction

The paintings are formed in
a dark and deep stylistic
depicting abstract figures.
A clear and sturdy feeling
The technique is a combination
of graphic and painting in a new
monochrome structure.
